Club Ride: St. Leonards Forest, Horsham, 13 May 07

4 05 2007

If you love very tight, narrow, twisty, flowy, technically challenging woodland singletrack then this is the ride for you.

This is not a ride for the fainthearted though and at 22 miles it is a bit of a killer, with just over 600mtrs of climbing those tempting little trails are deceiving. But we think it’s worth it and to add to the fun there are a few water splashes and logs / bridges to negotiate and some steep loose decents all through beautiful bluebells – nice !

It’s safe to say a good level of fitness and technical ability up and downhill is essential for this ride to keep the Group together. So, if you’re not confident descending on technical singletrack then maybe this ride isn’t one for you, sorry !
