Look what we’ve found (courtesy of Jay & Gayle of Tunnel Hill Trolls) up in the hills around Surrey ! Yes that is me going up and over a wooden see-saw which is tucked away at a very secret location that will be revealed at our October ride, sweet
Just thought I’d share this photo with you to whet your appetite. It certainly got my adrenaline flowing !! (and no I didn’t fall off, although Ollie & Jo very kindly agreed to break my fall if it looked likely, thank god it didn’t – it was quite high up you know)
Big thanks to Jay and Gayle for giving up their time at the weekend, I’m really looking forward to riding the area again later in the year, it’s amazing.

Good lord Lisa! Proper job
I’m amazed that a few drops off will upset you after successfully did that!
Are you going to be bitten by the freeride bug and start doing 8ft hucks and 20ft gap jumps?
R
Have you been watching Drop-in TV?
you’ll be pinching Tim’s 5 spot off him at bedgebury now!
Looks cool, do they have a roundabout too?
and swings. I love swings me.
wwwwhhhhhhhhheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
lol ! I had a serious dose of PMA that day and just went for it.., amazing what you can achieve when you tell yourself you can, and have a girlfriend showing you it can be done (Jo) and lots of encouragement (everyone else) and people standing by to catch you and telling you to pedal when you’re at the top and forget to keep pedalling (Jay). When I got off I was so pumped I threw myself on the floor and couldn’t stop shaking for quite a while and of course I was very verbal about my achievement, I wear my heart on my sleeve ?!?!? Still can’t do switchbacks though !! Roll on Wales because I need to get them nailed for Austria
Oh and don’t expect any demos at Bedgebury cos that boardwalks probably a bit too high and scarey …. even for me lol !!!
As an aside, what did Sally reckon on that la-pierre? as good as the hype?
I think so but hopefully she’ll let us know in a post on the forum. It looked very pretty I know that much and was very light with pretty wheels
The Lapierre was very nice – light, quick up the hills and very confidence inspiring down hill. that drop off was very steep – I wouldn’t have ridden down it on my hard tail!
I think it looks nice too!
