Shecycles Ride – Swinley Forest, Bracknell – Sat 17 Feb

15 02 2007

A Shecycles Ladies Ride, but honourary ‘ladies’ (said in Little Britain stylee) are welcome if well behaved 🙂

Seriously, there will probably be three different ability groups plus a separate group for the guys. No-one will get left behind, there’s no pressure, it’s just about having a good time.

Swinley Forest is also known as The Discovery Centre / The Look Out (£1.50 permit needed to ride all day from Centre). To get there follow the large brown tourist signs. Car park can be found off the B3430, just off the A322 which is south of Bracknell. Junction 3 of the M3 will take you on the A322.

Grid reference: SU876661. Map Link:

The nearest train station is Martin’s Heron (not Bracknell) and is about 2 miles away.

After lunch people are welcome to swap groups if they wish, perhaps to try out harder trails or go in the chillin’ group.

Let me know if you are making the trip (about 2hrs from EB) and I will keep an eye out for you. Cheers, Lisa
