After a year in the planning, I am proud to announce that the Sussex Muddy@rse MTB Club Jersey is now here and for sale.
A germ of an idea has been turned into a really cool design by regular Muddy@rser, Guy, who has so very kindly offered his fantastic design services free of charge. I hope you agree that between us we’ve come up with something you’d be proud to wear when out on the trails. Big, big thanks go to Guy because without him I’d still be stuck with an idea in my head and no way of turning it into something real.
I’ve chosen Endura to make the kit because they can offer a wide selection of garments including short /long sleeve MTB jerseys (loose fit), road jerseys (tighter fit) windproof gilets, downhill jersey (can get armour under), windproof jackets, buffs and kit bags. Two colour ways will be available, one for the girls (er, Pink) and one for the boys (Green), The full range of prices & sizing info will be available very soon once my p’ter stops saying NO! In the meantime, I’ve attached the jersey design to whet your appetite (colours not exact).
To keep the prices as competitive as possible I’ve secured sponsorship from one of my LBS, Evolution Cycles in Eastbourne. Evo (as their affectionately known) are a relatively new bike shop in Eastbourne but are owned and run by keen MTB’ers and I must thank them for their support. It’s meant Sussex Muddy@rse can offer a top-quality custom designed product at the best price possible and still allows a contribution from every jersey sale to go towards the Care for Connor Appeal.
Endura stipulate a minimum of 15 jerseys/jackets are needed to run each colour so if you could let me know asap if you’re interested I can at least get an approximate idea of numbers. I’ve also got a jersey and gillet sample which I’ll be taking along to the Club Ride on Sunday. I should have a list of all the prices then too.
